Liability

eduvacations® (eduVacations®, LLC) works with destination-site specialists, and therefore acts only as an agent for the respective suppliers in making arrangements for transportation, accommodations, and other services. eduvacations, its agents, employees, and/or representatives, shall not be held liable for personal injury, death, property damage or accident, delay or irregularity arising out of any act or omission of the destination-site specialist. Nor can eduvacations, its agents, employees and/or representatives, and/or the destination-site specialist, be held liable for personal injury, death, property damage, accident, delay, or irregularity arising out of any act or omission of these suppliers.

There are risks and uncertainties inherent in any sort of travel, including, but not limited to, the hazards of various modes of transportation, forces of nature, acts or omissions of foreign governments, terrorism, war or insurrection, theft, illness, and damage to person or property.

AS A CONDITION TO ACCEPTANCE OF ANY RESERVATION, EACH APPLICANT MUST AGREE TO SIGN THE STATEMENT SET FORTH BELOW:
The undersigned has read carefully “Important Information-Terms & Conditions” set forth herein, recognizes and accepts any risk associated with the trip and the conditions including the refund policy as set forth in "Important Information-Terms & Conditions". In consideration of, and a part of payment for the right to participate in the trip, the undersigned, on behalf of himself/herself, his/her dependents, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, agrees to release eduvacations® and the destination-site specialists, and their officers, employees, and agents, and/or representatives, from any and all liability for any loss, death, injury, obligations, costs, claims, judgements, attachments, and attorney’s fees, to person or property suffered by any person in connection with this trip.

By registering for this trip, the applicant certifies that he/she is mentally and physically capable of full participation in this trip.

Terms & Conditions

We at eduVacations® work very hard to provide an interactive cultural experience while satisfying your needs and interests, and adhere to a philosophy of cultural sensitivity and openness to international living experiences. While we strive to make you feel at home on your trip, we also value and respect the expectations, style of service and customs of our country hosts, and expect that you will also.

eduVacations® and affiliates do our best to fulfill your program and accommodation requests, given your specific requests provided on the reservation form — however, we cannot guarantee a “perfect” match. An eduVacation® is by nature a mind opening, real-world experience, not a stay in predictable, standardized, Americanized accommodations, and your company is generally a mix of many nationalities. Your host family may not be perfect (perhaps a bit disorganized, or maybe not gourmet cooks); your room in the hotel or residence might not be as big as you are accustomed to, the bed might be smaller, too. Some flexibility may be required on your part as a traveler.

If Problems Do Arise while on your trip, please remember that no problems can be considered or rectified unless reported to the destination-site specialist and eduVacations® prior to the conclusion of the course. It is your responsibility to contact them and eduVacations® at once if there is a problem; we will work with you to find a workable solution. No retrospective claims against eduVacations® or the destination-site specialist will be accepted unless eduVacations® and the destination-site specialist are advised of a problem during the time of the stay. Remember, we want you to enjoy your trip, and most problems can be rectified while you’re still on it, and fairly easily, given the proper notification.

Changes in the Itinerary or Accommodations- Due to circumstances beyond our control, the destination-site specialist or eduVacations® may have to make partial changes in your stated itinerary or accommodation. Every effort is made to keep changes to a minimum and to maintain prices and our standard of quality. Please also be aware that the information on our website is based on information available to us at the time of publication. Due to significant currency fluctuations, prices may change. You should know that the occurrence of changes are rare.

Changes, such as Lengthening or Shortening your Stay, are often possible. However, changes in plans may be subject to a $40 to $350 (complete destination change) change fee. If you must reschedule your trip (without a destination change), a $200 per person rescheduling fee applies.

Cancellation and Travel Insurance- eduVacations® understands that occasionally you may have to cancel reservations. If you must cancel plans prior to departure, a cancellation fee, up to 100% of the total price may apply; it is dependent on the affiliate's predicament and whether or not your space can be filled. Over the years, rescheduling has been the solution when a serious schedule conflict interferes with taking the trip. No refunds are available after departure. We highly recommend that you purchase the travel insurance policy we provide.
