This distinguished city, near the
country’s west coast, is the best preserved
18th-century architectural complex in the world. Its
white stone façades, parks, original cobblestone
streets and elegant boulevards are just some of the
many aspects of the city that seduce visitors, and
ranks Bordeaux among Europe’s most beautiful
cities. The beach and the largest pine forest in Europe
are 45 minutes west, the Dordogne region with its
chateaux and pre-historic sites is 90 minutes east,
and ski resorts of the Pyrénées are 2 hours south.
You’ll study French in a spacious
19th century three-story building in the heart of
the city. There are 15 air-conditioned classrooms
with Internet access, a self-study room and a lounge
leading onto a sheltered garden.
