small town (Kreuzthal-Eisenbach) sits amidst a quiet
valley, surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains
near the Alps, and the Swiss and Austrian borders.
Learn and improve your German quickly with private
instruction combined with language and cultural immersion,
guided excursions, bicycling, hiking, optional painting
lessons, and mingling with guests in the B&B.
Your host customizes a schedule of lessons, special
interest studies, cultural excursions, and recreational
activities, according to your needs and interests.

Cultural & Recreational Activities
Painting with instruction. Outdoor activities,
including cycling, mountain biking, roller-skating in
the summer, and cross country or downhill skiing in the
winter, horseback riding, and golfing. The small lake
near the house, offers a splendid mountain view for swimmers
and sunbathers. Other sights in the Allgäu region include
alpine hiking trails, the medieval town centers of Isny
and Leutkirch, and King Ludwig’s castle, Neuschwanstein.

| Take 20 German lessons per week
(45 minutes each) in a one-to-one format for total
immersion. You can, of course, also bring along
a partner to join you in your studies or to spend
your holidays with. In between class time, you will
be able to explore, and work on self-studying material
that will be handed out according to your individual
level. This may be written exercises for repetition
as well as handouts to prepare for the next lesson.

|
During
the week with your German teacher you will be learning
German while seeing the sights. There will be less
time spent at the desk but a lot of German conversation
on excursions together with your teacher - on foot,
by bicycle or by car. Improve your German and get
to know the beautiful countryside and towns of the
Allgäu region.
Minimum stay: 1 week

is a great immersion experience for families or
groups who want to have lessons (15 to 30 hours/week)
together and see a bit of Germany. Packages are
coordinated up request.
